Ujaas Energy, engaged in the manufacture and distribution of transformers, witnessed a sharp rise in share price on Tuesday after the company announced that it has bagged 6MW solar order worth Rs 369.8 million from Electricity Department of Daman and Diu.
The scope of work includes setting up of 6 MW grid connected solar PV project including five years Operation & maintenance on turnkey Basis at Diu.
This is a consecutive win of Ujaas in last three months after 9MW of Oil India Rajasthan, 10MW at Teesta Cananl West Bengal and 1000KWp at Andaman & Nicobar.
Shares of Ujaas Energy are trading at Rs 16.90, up Rs 1.1, or 6.96% at the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) on Tuesday at 2:28 p.m.
Total volume of shares traded on the bourses today was higher by 211.90% to 812,249 compared with 22-day average volume of 260,422.
