TV18 Broadcast, engaged in the production and telecast of news and entertainment programs, announced that the company will successfully conclude their ten year brand licensing and news services arrangement with and Cable News Network (CNN) for use of the CNN brand and CNN news content in January 2016.

Both companies have decided not to renew the arrangement.

TV18 Broadcast (TV18) is an India-based company engaged in the business of broadcasting; telecasting, relaying and transmitting general news programmes and operates the news channels CNN IBN.

Shares of the company declined Rs 2.4, or 6.38%, to trade at Rs 35.20. The total volume of shares traded was 394,421 at the BSE (11.59 a.m., Monday).
