Titan Company disclosed a steep drop in standalone net profit for the quarter ended September 2015. During the quarter, the profit of the company declined 39.42% to Rs 1,453.90 million from Rs 2,399.80 million in the same quarter last year.
Revenues for the quarter declined 25.64% to Rs 26,848.80 million, compared with Rs 36,108.70 million for the prior year period.
Operating margin for the quarter stood at 7.48 percent as compared to 9.22 percent for the previous year period. Operating Income for the quarter was Rs 2,007.50 million, compared with Rs 3330.6 million in the previous year period.
Earnings per share for the quarter stood at Rs 2.00, registering 33.33% decline over previous year period.
