Tera Software, a provider of information technology, software development, and integrated solutions, has bagged order worth Rs 3.20 billion. "This order is for implementation and management of Aerial Optical Fiber Grid to establish wide optical fiber network infrastructure in the state of Andhra Pradesh from INCAP (Infrastructure Corporation of Andhra Pradesh)," the company said.
Further the company said, "This work is a part of digital India programme and an initiative by Andhra Pradesh state to provide internet, video and telephone services across the 80 million households."
Shares of the company gained Rs 2.95, or 4.08%, to trade at Rs 63.75 at the BSE (12.10 a.m., Monday).
