Tata Power, India's largest integrated power company, today announced the company's standalone generation capacity stood at 11,974 MUs (million units) in FY15. The company, together with all its subsidiaries and jointly controlled entities, has an installed generation capacity of 8,750 MW from various fuel sources such as thermal (coal, gas and oil), hydroelectric power, renewable energy (wind and solar PV) and waste heat recovery, thereby, reinforcing its position as the largest integrated power company in India.
Overall, in FY15, CGPL reported total generation of 26,578 MUs in FY15, while Maithon plant reported 6,328 MUs. TPREL generated 296 MUs. In clean and green energy, Tata Power's Hydro Power Stations generated 1443 MUs, Wind Farms generated 635 MUs, and Solar plants recorded generation of 4 MU.

Shares of the company declined Rs 1, or 1.3%, to trade at Rs 76.20. The total volume of shares traded was 337,075 at the BSE (3.51 p.m., Thursday).
