Tata Power Company, an integrated power company, witnessed a rise in share price on Friday after it has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Russian Direct Investment Fund (RDIF) to develop investment opportunities in the energy sector. The agreement was signed during the state visit of Russian president Vladimir Putin to India.
Shares of the company are trading at Rs 85.85, up Rs 1.1, or 1.30% at the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) on Friday at 9:42 a.m. The scrip has touched an intra-day high of Rs 86.15 and low of Rs 85.30. The total volume of shares traded at the BSE is 52,768.
