Tata Power Company swung to a consolidated loss for the quarter ended September 2014. During the quarter, the company reported a loss of Rs 777.60 million compared with a profit of Rs 749.70 million in the same quarter last year. Net sales for the quarter declined marginally 4.23% to Rs 83,942.90 million, compared with Rs 87,646.90 million for the prior year period. Earnings per share stood negative at Rs 0.40 compared with Rs 0.12 in same quarter last year.
