Tata Power, an integrated power company, has commissioned one of the largest Radio Frequency Metering Projects in India enabling a step further on providing error free bills and eliminating the entry process of a utility person in premises for meter reading.
The company has benefited by lowering the Carbon Foot Print involved in a typical meter reading exercise along with saving man-hours and cost of manual meter reading & data punching.

Shares of the company declined Rs 1.55, or 2.04%, to settle at Rs 74.40. The total volume of shares traded was 217,317 at the BSE (Monday).
