Tata Motors, India's largest automobile company and leader in commercial vehicles across segments, announced that the new Tata Bolt hatch and sedan have arrived in South Africa, sporting stylish designs and are packed with segment first connectivity technology.

The cars are manufactured in Pune, India, the Bolt range has a new design language and offers comfortable and responsive driving experience.

Mayank Pareek, president, Passenger Vehicle Business Unit, Tata Motors, "With the aim to deliver the best of products and services to our customers, we at Tata Motors are delighted to bring two new exciting products to the South African market - the dynamic sedan and the sporty hatchback, Bolt. This range, represents the new DNA of our passenger vehicles business and is the first to be produced under our Horizonext strategy."

The Bolt hatch and sedan, extends Tata South Africa's passenger product portfolio, and offers an upgrade of distinctive style and remarkable features.

Shares of the company gained Rs 8.45, or 2.53%, to settle at Rs 341.95. The total volume of shares traded was 1,448,595 at the BSE (Wednesday).
