Tata Communications appoints Pratibha K Advani as CFO

Tata Communications, a global provider of communications services, announced the appointment of Pratibha K. Advani as its Chief Financial Officer.  Based in India, Pratibha will be responsible for the strategic financial management of the company, including corporate affairs & investor relations.

Pratibha brings with her over two decades of varied experience ranging from financial strategy, project financing, M&A, risk management, and legal and secretarial.  Prior to joining Tata Communications, Pratibha was the Chief Financial Officer at NIIT Technologies and prior to that, she was the Chief Financial Officer at Barclays Shared Services and Vice President Finance & Chief Financial Officer at GE-SBI Cards. Pratibha started her career in finance with ITC, where she spent over 15 years working in its Hotels Division.

Shares of the company gained Rs 5.35, or 1.26%, to settle at  Rs 429.  The total volume of shares traded  was  54,829 at the BSE (Wednesday).
