Tata Comm plunges 6% as Q1 net loss widens

 Tata Communications, a global provider of communications services, witnessed a sharp fall in share price on Wednesday after its net loss for the quarter ended June 2015 widened to Rs 338.60 million. It reported a net loss of Rs 213.80 million in the same quarter previous year.
 Revenues for the quarter rose marginally 1.85% to Rs 52,062.70 million, compared with Rs 51,117 million for the prior year period.
Shares of Tata Communications are trading at Rs 442.15, down Rs 30.85, or 6.52% at the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) on Wednesday at 10:04 a.m.
The scrip has touched an intra-day high of Rs 466.20 and low of Rs 435.05. The total volume of shares traded at the BSE is 108,376.
