Tata Coffee, India's largest coffee exporter, announced that the board of directors of the company has approved the appointment of Sanjiv Sarin as CEO designate of Tata Coffee with effect from Jan. 08, 2015.
Sanjiv Sarin will assume charge as managing director and CEO of Tata Coffee after the retirement of Hameed Huq, the current managing director and CEO. Sarin is currently the regional president for South Asia in Tata Global Beverages, the holding company of Tata Coffee.
Shares of the company gained Rs 5.65, or 0.6%, to settle at Rs 942.65. The total volume of shares traded was 6,326 at the BSE (Monday).
