Tara Jewels (TJL), engaged in the business of jewellery manufacturing, export and retailing, announced that it has signed an exclusive manufacturing and supply agreement with Sterling Jewelers Inc (USA) for the designer brand Angel Sanchez.

Sterling Jewelers Inc is a part of Signet Group and the largest speciality Jeweler in USA and UK.

''A launch order valued at Rs 290 million (approx USD 4.4 million) has been successfully delivered. The designs are being tested initially in about 60 stores. Sterling Jewelers Inc (USA) has approx. 1400 stores in America,'' the company said.

Shares of the company declined Rs 0.2, or 0.61%, to settle at Rs 32.85. The total volume of shares traded was 3,619 at the BSE (Tuesday).
