Suven Life sciences (Suven) announces today that Suven is selected as one of the ''Best Under A Billion'' companies by Forbes Asia 2014. Forbes Asia's ''Best Under A Billion'' list highlights 200 of the best small and midsized listed companies in Asia Pacific with annual revenue under USD 1 billion.

To qualify for the selection, companies must have revenue between USD 5 million and USD 1 billion, positive net income and be publicly traded for at least a year. From a universe of 17,000 companies, qualified candidates are screened on sales growth, earnings growth and return on equity. The result is a final list featuring 200 exceptional small and midsized companies from Asia Pacific.

Shares of the company gained Rs 2.65, or 1.46%, to trade at Rs 184.25. The total volume of shares traded was 48,420 at the BSE (10.31 a.m., Tuesday).
