Surya Roshni, a manufacturer of fluorescent tubes, announced Thursday the company bagged orders for supply of LED bulbs, street lights and other lighting products worth Rs 850 million from Energy Efficiency Services (EESL) and from NTPC.

The said orders include supply of 8.6 million LED bulbs under Domestic Efficient Lighting Programme (DELP) through competitive bidding.

The company product lineup includes tube lights, compact fluorescent lamps, light emitting diode (LED) lamps, metal halide lamps, street lighting, high bay lighting, flooding lighting, landscape lighting and high mast. It operates in three segments: steel, lighting and fan.

Shares of the company gained Rs 3.7, or 2.74%, to settle at Rs 138.80. The total volume of shares traded was 189,019 at the BSE (Thursday).
