Suprajit Engineering, a manufacturer of two wheeler control cable, announced trial and testing of few critical equipments at its new Sanand plant at CHARAL Industrial Estate, Gujarat. The building activities are at advanced stage of completion.

A portion of the plant is readied on priority to meet certain start up requirement of one of its prestigious customer to whom this plant will cater to, the company said. 

The stock had underperformed the market over the past one month till Jul. 24, 2015, rising 1.18% compared with the Sensex's 1.38% rise. It outperformed the market in past one quarter, gaining 3.94% as against 2.46% rise in the Sensex.

Shares of the company declined Rs 1, or 0.7%, to trade at Rs 141. The total volume of shares traded was 2,582 at the BSE (1.20 p.m., Monday).
