Sunil Hitech Engineers, one of the leading EPC contractor and infrastructure project executors in India has been awarded two orders worth Rs 4.74 billion in the state of Bihar from Ministry of Road Transport and Highways, Government of India.
The project is part of National Highways Interconnectivity Improvement which is funded by World Bank.
The scope of work includes rehabilitation and upgradation to 2-lane with paved shoulders configuration and strengthening of Sitamarhi-Jaynagar-Narahia Section from 40 km to 219.945 km of NH-104 for Lot-I 40 km to 79.40 km [NHIIP-BR-104-11] and Lot-II 79.40 km to 156.50 km [NHIIP-BR-104-11] worth Rs 1.54 billion and Rs 3.19 billion respectively.
Sunil Gutte, Managing Director of the company said, 'With the receipt of these orders, we are continuing our strategy to diversify our orderbook which will improve our profitability. Our total orderbook on road segment is now approx Rs 10 billion comprising of 5 projects.'
The company has also one project in State of Karnataka worth Rs 1.22 billion and second project in the state of West Bengal worth Rs 3.22 billion.
Shares of the company gained Rs 17.3, or 6.26%, to trade at Rs 293.50. The total volume of shares traded was 41,701 at the BSE (9.37 a.m., Monday).
