Sun TV shares plunge as ED attaches Marans assets

Sun TV Network, an Indian mass media company, witnessed a decline in share price on Monday after media report stated the Enforcement Directorate (ED) on Wednesday, Apr. 1, 2015, attached assets worth Rs 7.42 billion in the name of former telecom minister Dayanidhi Maran, his businessman brother Kalanithi and other family members in connection with its money laundering probe in the Aircel-Maxis deal.

Shares of the company are trading at Rs 407.80, down Rs 46.05, or 10.15% at the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) on Monday at 12:11 p.m.

The scrip has touched an intra-day high of Rs 434.85 and low of Rs 402.25. The total volume of shares traded at the BSE is 196,693.
