Sun TV Network disclosed a substantial rise in standalone net profit for the quarter ended September 2015. During the quarter, the profit of the company rose 41.37% to Rs 2,183.80 million from Rs 1,544.70 million in the same quarter previous year.

Revenues for the quarter rose 10.77% to Rs 5,884.40 million, compared with Rs 5,312 million for the prior year period.

For the quarter ended Sept. 30, 2015, the advertisement revenue was up by 15.80% at Rs 3.01 billion, as against Rs 2.60 billion for the corresponding quarter ended Sept 30, 2014. The Subscription revenue for the quarter was up by 9.99% at Rs 1.97 billion, as against Rs 1.79 billion for the corresponding quarter ended Sept. 30, 2014.

Operating margin for the quarter stood at 73.45 percent as compared to 74.45 percent for the previous year period. Operating Income for the quarter was Rs 4,322.30 million, compared with Rs 3954.7 million in the previous year period.

During the quarter ended Sept. 30, 2015, the EBITDA was up by 9.30% at Rs 4.32 billion as compared to Rs 3.95 billion in the previous quarter ended Sept. 30, 2014.

Earnings per share for the quarter stood at Rs 6.00, registering 50.00% growth over previous year period.
