 Sun Pharmaceutical Industries, an international, integrated, speciality pharmaceutical company, witnessed a sharp decline in share prices on Thursday. The stocks fell after media reports stated the US Food and Drug Administration (US FDA) is undertaking a surprise inspection at its manufacturing facility in Halol, Gujarat.
Shares of the company are trading at Rs 828.50, down Rs 31.15, or 3.62% at the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) on Thursday at 10:52 a.m.
The scrip has touched an intra-day high of Rs 853 and low of Rs 808. The total volume of shares traded at the BSE is 332,283.
