Steel Strips Wheels (SSWL), a producer of automobile wheel rims, announced that in April 2015, total wheel rim sales in numbers stood at 10.24 lacs Vs 9.15 lacs in April 2014 representing a growth of 12%. SSWL yet again achieved highest sales ever in its Jamshedpur plant in April 2014.

In terms of value, the company has achieved gross turnover of Rs 1.11 billion in April 2015 Vs 0.99 billion in April 2014, there by recording growth of 12% and

achieved a Net turnover of Rs 1 billion in April 2015 Vs Rs 0.90 billion in April 2014, recording a growth of 11.7%.

Passenger car segment was up 26% in April 2015 yoy. The company is increasing its market share and expect the improvement of 200-300bps going into FY15-16, it said.
