Steel Strips Wheels (SSWL), a producer of automobile wheel rims, announced that in October 2015, total wheel rim sales in numbers stood at 10.92 lakh compared to 9.98 lakh in October 2014 representing a growth of 9.5%.

In terms of value, the company has achieved gross turnover of Rs 1.10 billion in October  2015 as compared to Rs 939.3 million in October  2014, recording a growth of 17.71% and achieved a net turnover of Rs 994.5 million in October  2015 as against Rs 845.6 million in October  2014, recorded a growth of 17.6%.

In segmental growth, the company's passenger car segment grew by 19% in October 2015 year on year (YoY), while the company's LCV & MHCV segment volumes grew by 97% YoY in October 2015.

The company's export surged 43% on the back of increased shipments towards Europe. However, the company's domestic Tractor segment volumes dropped 1% in October 2015 YoY.
