Steel Strips Wheels (SSWL), a producer of automobile wheel rims, announced that in June 2015, total wheel rim sales in numbers stood at 10.28 lacs compared to 9.30 lacs in June 2014 representing a growth of 10%.

In terms of value, the company recorded growth of 14.9% and achieved gross turnover of Rs 1143.7 million in June 2015 compared to 995.2 million in June 2014. 

The company recorded growth of 14.3% and achieved a net turnover of Rs 1028.8 million in June 2015 compared to Rs 899.4 million in June 2014.

Passenger car segment was up 23% in June 2015, Y-o-Y. Domestic tractor segment volumes dropped by 10% June yoy. Exports dropped by 7.5% in June 2015.

Shares of the company gained Rs 5.4, or 1.9%, to trade at Rs 290. The total volume of shares traded was 3,122 at the BSE (3.22 p.m., Thursday).
