SpiceJet witnessed a fall in share price on Tuesday as the cash-strapped airline raced against time to convince the government to help it remain in the air.

Shares of the company are trading at Rs 12.70, down Rs 2, or 13.61% at the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) on Tuesday at 2:52 p.m.

The scrip has touched an intra-day high of Rs 13.45 and low of Rs 11.25. The total volume of shares traded at the BSE is 23,960,446.
