Spicejet witnessed a sharp gained in share price on Monday after the chairman and main promoter Ajay Singh has decided to infuse capital for fleet expansion.

Shares of the company are trading at Rs 19, up Rs 0.85, or 4.68% at the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) on Monday at 12:21 p.m.

The scrip has touched an intra-day high of Rs 19.65 and low of Rs 18.20. The total volume of shares traded at the BSE is 1,847,599.
