Spice Mobility witnessed nearly 9% rise in share price on Friday after the company announced that Spice Digital (SDL), a subsidiary of the company, has acquired 26% stake in Creative Functionapps Lab.

Creative Functionapps is engaged in the business of telecom and mobile internet and developing innovative products and solutions for the next generation telecom networks. The products and solutions of the company range from analytics based telecom network performance and monitoring to mobile and internet consumer services.

Shares of the company gained Rs 1.9, or 8.78%, to trade at Rs 23.55. The total volume of shares traded was 13,428 at the BSE (10.54 a.m., Friday).

Total volume of shares traded on the bourses today was higher by 50.64% to 49,635 compared with 22-day average volume of 32,949.
