Siemens, a leading technology enabled solutions provider, announced that the company has won an order approximately worth Rs 790 million from Suzlon Energy.
The scope of work for the project includes supply of Winergy brand Gear Boxes of 2.1MW capacity for wind turbines.
In Sep'15, the company had bagged Rs 810 million from Diesel Locomotive Works (DLW), Varanasi for supply and supervision, installation and commissioning of AC-AC traction systems including locomotive controller.
Shares of the company gained Rs 14.75, or 1.14%, to trade at Rs 1,305.00. The total volume of shares traded was 8,484 at the BSE (12.54 p.m., Wednesday).
