Siemens, a leading technology enabled solutions provider, announced that it has won order worth Rs 670 million from Larsen & Toubro (L&T). The company will supply of high voltage gas insulated switchgear to L&T for a substation project of Himachal Pradesh Power Transmission Corporation, the power transmission utility of Himachal Pradesh.
The scope of work involves supply of 400kV and 220kV GIS including supervision of erection, testing and commissioning. The GIS will be manufactured in Siemens' factory in Aurangabad.
Shares of the company declined Rs 35.3, or 2.45%, to trade at Rs 1,405.95. The total volume of shares traded was 13,382 at the BSE (1.33 p.m., Monday).
