Sesa Sterlite, one of the largest diversified natural resources company, reported the production release for the fourth quarter and full year ended March 2015.

Oil and Gas
Average daily gross operated production for the fourth quarter of FY2015 went down by 4% to 215,553 barrels of oil equivalent per day (boepd) compared to 224,429 boepd in fourth quarter of FY2014. Similarly, average daily gross operated production for FY2015 went down to 220,879 boepd compared to 226,808 boepd in FY2014.

Zinc India
Mined metal content for the fourth quarter of FY2015 went up to 269 thousand tonnes from 200 thousand tonnes in fourth quarter of FY2014. Similarly, mined metal content for FY2015 went up by 1% to 887 thousand tonnes from 880 thousand tonnes in FY2014.

Refined Zinc
Refined zinc's production for the fourth quarter of FY2015 went up by 21% to 217 thousand tonnes from 179 thousand tonnes in fourth quarter of FY2014. Similarly, refined zinc’s production for FY2015 went down by 3% to 721 thousand tonnes compared to 743 thousand tonnes in FY2014.

Refined Lead
Refined lead's production for the fourth quarter of FY2015 stood at 36 thousand tonnes. Similarly, refined lead’s production for FY2015 went down by 5% to 105 thousand tonnes compared to 111 thousand tonnes in FY2014.

Power
Power sales for for the fourth quarter of FY2015 went up by 22% to 2,547 million units from 2,093 million units in fourth quarter of FY2014. Similarly, power sales for FY2015 went up by 5% to 9,859 million units from 9,374 million units in FY2014.

Shares of the company gained Rs 4.45, or 2.29%, to trade at Rs 199.05. The total volume of shares traded was 327,215 at the BSE (2.02 p.m., Friday).
