State Bank of India (SBI), Corporate Accounts Group Branch, Ballard Estate, Mumbai conducted a donation function under SBI's Corporate Social Responsibility and donated 2 Mobile Medicare Units (MMU) to HelpAge India.
The MMUs are equipped with Glucometer, Stethoscope, BP Apparatus, Weighing Machine, and Laptop with printer-cum-scanner etc. which will facilitate medical help to Senior Citizens on the spot.
P Pradeep Kumar, managing director & Group Executive, (Corporate Banking) of SBI said, that SBI conducts such activity regularly as its social responsibility and SBI draws delight to extend helping hand to HelpAge India.
Borgaonkar expressed thankfulness to SBI for the donation of MMUs which will be rendering Medical services to elderly people at different locations in Mumbai. He appreciated that SBI has been supporting HelpAge India from time to time in caring for the old age & needy members of the society.
Shares of SBI gained Rs 0.35, or 0.12%, to trade at Rs 291. The total volume of shares traded was 882,595 at the BSE (1.38 p.m., Tuesday).
