Sanghvi Forging bags order worth Rs 100 mn

Vadodara based Sanghvi Forging & Engineering (SFEL), one of the top engineering in India announced that company has received an order worth Rs 100 million. The fresh orders have come in from Oil & Gas, Power and Shipbuilding sectors. The majority of the orders received by the company are for its new heavy open die forging plant. 

The company's newly started heavy open die forging unit with the capacity of 15000 MTPA has increased the company's forging capacity fivefold. The company is receiving good amount of orders from Oil & Gas, Power and Ship Building sectors for its new plant.

The company has already got 25 approvals for the new plant, which includes Multinationals and Indian Conglomerates. Total Order book size as on September 22; 2014 is Rs 380 million and out of this around 75% is domestic and rest is from export orders.

Commenting on the orders, Jayanti Sanghvi, MD, Sanghvi Forging & Engineering, said, ''The new spate of orders from the oil & gas and shipping sector show that our quality is being increasingly accepted by them. Also the fact that these use a high component of forging is good for our company.'' 
 
Shares of the company gained Rs 3.6, or 9.89%, to trade at Rs 40. The total volume of shares traded was 17,846 at the BSE (11.02 a.m., Monday).
