Saksoft, a leading provider of information management solutions to successful companies, has acquired a 51% ownership stake in Threesixty Logica Testing.

''The demand for independent testing services is growing at a phenomenal pace in the current SMAC (social, mobile, analytics and cloud) and e-commerce environment and the acquisition of 51% of Threesixty Logica Testing is part of the broader plan to enlarge our foot prints n the testing domain,'' said Aditya Krishna, CEO of Saksoft. ''We are very excited with this investment and believe that our focus on information management combined with their expertise in independent testing will enable us to further leverage our capabilities as a niche technology services provider.''

Shares of the company gained Rs 19.9, or 14.96%, to trade at Rs 152.90. The total volume of shares traded was 1,988 at the BSE (10.04 a.m., Thursday).
