RPP Infra Projects said Tuesday the company has secured two contracts worth Rs 728 million from Chennai Corporation. The work is to be completed in 24 months.
This order is for Tamil Nadu Sustainable Urban Development Project (TNSUDP) and integrated storm water drain (ISWD) funded by World Bank for construction of integrated storm water drain in cooum watershed of cooum basin in expanded area of Chennai Corporation for Rs 395 million and for Rs 333 million.
Arul Sundaram, CMD, RPP Infra Projects said, ''India envisage a big growth for infrastructure in coming days & company is poised to garner a sizable growth from this by winning orders currently & few more orders going ahead. We are happy that the Revenues & Profit of our Company will touch new heights in coming years.''
Recently, the company signed MOU with Chinese State Owned Construction Company ''Hunan Engineering Construction Group'' to participate in high value tenders. The way by which Hunan will accompany with RPP is under analyzation.
Shares of the company declined Rs 1.95, or 1.78%, to trade at Rs 107.40. The total volume of shares traded was 62,342 at the BSE (11.37 a.m., Tuesday).
