Reliance Power, Anil Ambani led company engaged in development and operation of power projects, and government of Rajasthan (GoR) today signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to develop a 6,000 MW solar power projects in the state of Rajasthan over the period of next 10 years.

The MoU was signed at Jaipur in the presence of chief minister of Rajasthan Vasundhara Raje and chairman of Reliance Power Anil Dhirubhai Ambani.

Shares of the company gained Rs 0.8, or 1.38%, to trade at Rs 58.60. The total volume of shares traded was 926,437 at the BSE (1.17 p.m., Thursday).
