India's leading software exporter, Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) said on Monday the company maintains rigorous internal controls to ensure full compliance with all regulatory requirements related to US immigration laws including those related to H-1B visas.
TCS was reacting to media reports which stated that US has opened probe against TCS for violations of H1-B visa.
"We would like to affirm our commitment to fair disclosure," the company said.
Shares of the company declined Rs 2.45, or 0.1%, to trade at Rs 2,509.35. Total volume of shares traded on the bourses today was lower by 86.47% to 187,611 compared with 22-day average volume of 1,387,124. (11.54 a.m., Tuesday)
