Ricoh India announced that the company has secured an order worth Rs 13.7 billion from Department of Posts, Government of India towards five year project of Rural Information and Communication Technology (ICT) of department of posts, Government of India.
Earlier, the company announced its foray into the multimedia solutions for K12 School, with the launch of Ricoh IntelliClass. It is a state-of-the-art solution designed for Indian schools that offer modern multimedia classroom with world class content. It is a unique solution which includes comprehensive coverage of content across K12 segment.
Ricoh India is a leading manufacturer and supplier of digital multi-function devices and other electronic products.
Shares of the company gained Rs 28.2, or 8.96%, to trade at Rs 343. The total volume of shares traded was 197,720 at the BSE (11.17 a.m., Tuesday).
