Reliance Communications, India’s fully-integrated telecommunications service provider and Jasper, a global Internet of Things (IoT) platform leader, today announced a partnership to enable enterprises throughout India to launch, manage and monetize next-generation IoT businesses. Reliance said that it is Jasper's sole telecom partner in India.
This partnership pairs the capabilities of Reliance's 11 data center facilities and its global cloud exchange platform with Jasper's global IoT services platform to enable enterprises to capitalize on IoT services.
The Indian telecom company said, this partnership marks yet another step forward in delivering the infrastructure and IoT platform required to facilitate the diverse array of projects under the Government of India’s 'Digital India' initiative."

Shares of the company gained Rs 0.85, or 1.63%, to trade at Rs 53.05. The total volume of shares traded was 625,688 at the BSE (1.09 p.m., Thursday).
