Yes Bank, one of the leading private sector banks, said Tuesday the bank has received approval from Reserve Bank of India for re-appointment of Rana Kapoor as managing director and chief executive officer for a period of three years with effect from Sept. 1, 2015. 

The above announcement was  in pursuant to the approval of the board of directors and the approval of shareholders at the 11th AGM held on Jun. 6, 2015.

Shares of the bank gained Rs 49.65, or 7.89%, to trade at Rs 678.75. The total volume of shares traded was 877,406 at the BSE (3.29 p.m., Tuesday).
