Rane Engine Valve swung to a profit for the quarter ended June 2015. During the quarter, the company reported a profit of Rs 150.80 million compared with a loss of Rs 1.10 million in the same quarter previous year.
Revenues for the quarter rose 20.93% to Rs 868.11 million, compared with Rs 718 million for the prior year period.
Earnings per share stood at Rs 22.46 compared with negative Rs 0.21 in the same quarter last year.
The company received an exceptional income through sale of part of the land in Alandur Chennai amounting to Rs 275.4 million
