Ramco Systems wins multi-million-dollar software deal from Philippines'

Ramco Systems has bagged a software deal from AP Carqo Loqistic Network Corp., Philippines' leading domestic provider of express logistics for air cargo and other goods.

AP Carqo will implement Ramco Systems' Logistics Software to streamline its freight operations nationwide.

As part of the agreement, Ramco wlll implement its unified, mobile-friendly modules for transport management, hub management; warehouse management, fleet management, visibility; rating and billing, finance and accounting, integrated with end-to-end HR and Payroll compliant with Philippines' statutory requirements at AP Cargo.

Ramco, which set up its Philippine subsidiary in mid-2016 has been witnessing stupendous growth in the region, with nearly 40o/o of the new order booking for APAC in 2017-18 coming from Philippines. Ramco's continuous thrust on Logistics segment and focus on employing some of the innovative minds locally, has been strengthening the company's position in the region.

Shares of the company gained Rs 16, or 4.24%, to trade at Rs 393.05. The total volume of shares traded was 8,473 at the BSE (11.24 a.m., Thursday).
