PVR consolidated quarterly profit soars 2.23 times

PVR announced a sharp rise in consolidated net profit for the quarter ended December 2014. During the quarter, the profit of the company rose 2.23 times to Rs 315.50 million from Rs 141.60 million in the same quarter previous year. Net sales for the quarter rose 24.85% to Rs 4,203.10 million, compared with Rs 3,367 million for the prior year period. Earnings per share for the quarter stood at Rs 7.66, registering 61.26% growth over previous year period.
