Punj Lloyd, engaged into engineering, procurement and construction (EPC), has secured a project worth Rs 5.42 billion from National Highways Authority of India. The project is for four laning of 41 km long road in Bihar.
The scope of work for the project includes four laning from 360.915 km to 402.000 km of the Gorakhpur Gopalganj section of NH-28 in Bihar.
Part of the highway connection Lucknow and Muzaffarpur, the stretch starts from Gorakhpur in Uttar Pradesh and will pass through the Kuchaikot, Sasamusa, Gopalganj, Koini and Dewapur areas of Bihar, the company said.
Shares of the company gained Rs 0.4, or 1.53%, to trade at Rs 26.55. The total volume of shares traded was 1,149,826 at the BSE (11.45 a.m., Tuesday).
