Promoters and foreign institutional investors (FIIs) have reduced shareholding in Kotak Mahindra Bank over the last three months. Promoters have reduced shareholding by 616 basis points to 33.86 percent at the end of June 2015 quarter from 40.02 percent as on Mar 31, 2015. At the same time, FIIs shareholding decreased by 153 basis points to 35.32 percent at the end of June 2015 quarter from 36.85 percent as on Mar 31, 2015.
On the other hand, domestic institutional investors (DIIs) shareholding increased by 183 basis points to 3.69 percent at the end of June 2015 quarter from 1.86 percent as on Mar 31, 2015.
Non institutions were holding 27.08 percent stake at the end of June 2015 quarter, up 594 basis points from 21.14 percent as on Mar 31, 2015.
Corporate bodies were holding 3.56 percent stake at the end of June 2015 quarter, up 26 basis points from 3.3 percent as on Mar 31, 2015.
Shares of the bank declined Rs 15.28, or 2.14%, to trade at Rs 697 at the BSE (12.42 p.m., Wednesday).
