Polaris Consulting & Services today announced the appointment of Uma Ratnam Krishnan as a director on the board and NM Vaidyanathan as chief financial officer of the company with effect from Mar. 19, 2015.

The board of directors have declared an interim dividend of Rs 5 a share (100%) to the shareholders whose names are on the register of members as on the record date, Mar. 31, 2015.

Shares of the company gained Rs 8.2, or 5.17%, to trade at Rs 166.70. The total volume of shares traded was 466,672 at the BSE (2.11 p.m., Thursday).
