PNC Infra emerges lowest bidder for Purvanchal Expressway project

PNC Infratech has been declared the L1 (lowest) bidder for the 42.7 km long 4 th package of Lucknow-Ghazipur Six Lane Access Controlled Purvanchal Expressway Project from Siddhi Ganeshpur to Sansarpur (District Sultanpur) in the state of Uttar Pradesh on EPC basis for a value of Rs 17.38 billion.

The price bids were opened on Thursday, May 24, 2018, with PNC's bid being the lowest (L1).

Uttar Pradesh Expressways Industrial Development Authority (UPEIDA) is the Proponent for the 341.0 km long Green Field Expressway comprising eight individual packages. Construction of the project is to be completed in 30 months.

Shares of the company gained Rs 2.45, or 1.42%, to trade at Rs 175.15. The total volume of shares traded was 12,824 at the BSE (9.51 a.m., Friday).
