Persistent Systems joins SAFe program for digital transformation

Persistent Systems, a global company specializing in software product and technology services, today announced that it has joined the Scaled Agile Fremwork (SAFe) partner program to strengthen its software product DNA for customers. The company continues to expand its partner ecosystem to help customers transform into software-driven businesses. Innovative methods and frameworks like SAFe add to partnerships with technology providers in line with the recently articulated strategy for digital transformation.

Dean Leffingwell, chief methodologist and creator of SAFe said, ''Having Persistent Systes - a leader in digital transformation-join us, further validates the benefits of agility at scale and the power of the SAFe to successfully transform organizations.''

Mritunjay Singh, executive director and chief operating officer at Persistent Systems said, ''Digital transformation is fundamentally different from IT modernization. Unlike IT, digital capabilities will be built like a software product or platform and using agile. SAFe brings proven practices for our customers' digital journey and strengthens the software product DNA that differentiates us and our workforce.''

Shares of the company declined Rs 10.85, or 0.7%, to trade at  Rs 1,549.  The total volume of shares traded  was  3,551 at the BSE (3.22 p.m., Tuesday).
