Persistent Systems, a global company specializing in software product and technology services, witnessed a rise in share price on Wednesday after the company announced the acquisition of the digital content management solutions business of Akumina.
The company also announced a strategic partnership and investment in Akumina, strengthening its partner ecosystem for digital transformation.
Akumina is a maker of InterChange, an innovative software platform that optimizes user experiences for digital businesses using Microsoft SharePoint.
Shares of Persistent Systems are trading at Rs 665.50, up Rs 6.45, or 0.98% at the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) on Wednesday at 11:26 a.m.
Total volume of shares traded on the bourses today was lower by 59.48% to 26,059 compared with 22-day average volume of 64,312.
