Persistent Systems, a global software developer, today announced the acquisition of the digital content management solutions business of Akumina. The company also announced a strategic partnership and investment in Akumina, strengthening its partner ecosystem for digital transformation.

Akumina is a maker of InterChange, an innovative software platform that optimizes user experiences for digital businesses using Microsoft SharePoint.

With this relationship with Akumina and the recent acquisition of RGEN Solutions, Persistent Systems continues to strengthen its ability to assist clients in their digital transformation using Microsoft technologies, said the company

Shares of the company gained Rs 4.95, or 0.75%, to trade at Rs 664.00. The total volume of shares traded was 2,755 at the BSE (11.17 a.m., Wednesday).
