Pennar Industries arm bags orders worth Rs 1.65 bn

Pennar Engineered Building Systems (PEBS Pennar) a subsidiary of Pennar Industries, has secured new orders worth Rs 1.65 billion from marquee clients like Tata Projects, Reliance Jio Infocomm, Larsen & Toubro, International Cargo Terminal, Siemens, Biological E, UK Textiles, Kapil Power, Automotive India, among others.

Commenting on the development, P V Rao, managing director, PEBS Pennar, said, "With our order book showing strong growth, we believe that we have begun seeing the benefits of a turnaround in the Indian Economy. We have received large orders from big, reputed companies which show their confidence in PEBS Pennar as India’s leading PEB company."

Shares of the company gained Rs 0.5, or 1.06%, to trade at Rs 47.75. The total volume of shares traded was 43,200 at the BSE (12.30 p.m., Wednesday).
