Orient Refractories standalone quarterly profit falls 6.15%

Orient Refractories announced a marginal decline in standalone net profit for the quarter ended December 2014. During the quarter, the profit of the company declined 6.15% to Rs 131.59 million from Rs 140.22 million in the same quarter last year. Net sales for the quarter rose 10.55% to Rs 1,169.32 million, compared with Rs 1,058 million for the prior year period. Earnings per share for the quarter stood at Rs 1.09, registering 6.84% decline over previous year period.
